Carburetor Idle solenoid valve damage first aid
carburetor of many modern cars is equipped with idle speed solenoid valve, if the carburetor idle speed solenoid valve is failure, the engine will without idle speed, will often turn off when idling.
The reasons that cause solenoid valve not work may be due to wire circuit is off or connector looses, solenoid valve itself is invalid. Maintenance according to the following methods:
（1）First check the ignition switch wires to the solenoid valve whether is off, if the open circuit should be connected by fasteners, otherwise, should check the idle speed solenoid valve
（2）First connect to the ignition switch, using input line connector and the socket touch and away, listen whether have the sound of “Da, Da”when the solenoid valve acts. If yes, explain solenoid valve is good; If there is no response, may be solenoid valve is invalid or line connectors is loose, should further examine the wire connectors.
（3）Solenoid valve does not work normally because connector loosen and causes power off. At this point plugging well the input lines plug, using hands fiddle with joint. As you hears "Da" , indicating there is loosening phenomenon.
If the solenoid valve itself has a problem, and without the parts replacement, using the following methods for emergency treatment: 1. using hand to stir solenoid valve connectors, until hearing the sound of "Da", using hand holding down the joint, and then wrapped tightly with adhesive tape, then extract the input line plug for one touch one off test, if with "Da, Da" active sound, that means it has returned to normal, can continue to use. Note the aboved process should be connected to the ignition switch status, 2, if confirmed that idle speed solenoid valve is damaged, for the restoration of the role of idling. Solenoid valve should be removed, and using appropriate plug screw blocking, so that does not leak. In this way, solenoid valve loses its function,and to be no idle speed solenoid valve carburetor.
